I see a positive potential arising from the Texas Board of Education rewriting history from the social conservative point of view. Perhaps more people will bother to vote in future elections in Texas, which has long been a Republican stronghold. Sometimes strong medicine is required to cure a patient of delusions. There are many things that may be overlooked by the electorate, but rewriting history in a brazen manner should succeed in attracting the attention of parents.
